Anaesthetist – Kaga Bandoro – Central African Republic (CAR)
The anaesthetist is a member of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) obstetrical team, which responds to gynaecological and obstetrical emergencies and operates in the gynaecological-obstetrical hospital department.
The incumbent will work closely with the other team members: the obstetrician-gynaecologist, the operating room nurse and the mobile midwife.
He/she will supervise and train ICRC and/or national resident physicians and/or nurses assigned to work with him/her.

He/she will respond to obstetric emergencies according to ICRC anaesthesia standards, protocols and guidelines.
