Advocacy & Campaigns Officer - COVID-19 Response in BARMM

The Role
The Advocacy and Campaigns Officer is responsible in building relationship with the relevant stakeholders identified by the project for advocacy and campaigns. S/he is also responsible in leading the development of advocacy and campaign materials, posted in different platforms, in close collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Post-graduate degree in social sciences or related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of campaigning with international/national organizations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to write high quality reports, press releases, persuasive letters etc.
* Sound orientation of external environment specifically the government processes of legislative reforms
* Good understanding of children related legal systems, child protection action plans, standing committees of national assembly and relevant ministries, law formation processes etc.
* Experience of working in partnerships with local NGOs/CBOs
* Effective networking skills and ability to coordinate with different stakeholders
* Proficiency in Ms-Office
* Ability to effectively perform a range of tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently with a commitment to high quality work
* Willingness to travel extensively and commitment to work with and for children

Contract length: Fixed Term position until February 2021 based in Cotabato City
