The USAID-funded Clean Cities Blue Ocean project in Sri Lanka, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development (www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest for a Administrative Specialist. This position will be located in one of CCBO’s regional project office in Colombo.

The CCBO activity is a five-year initiative of USAID which will serve as USAID's flagship program to target ocean plastics directly at their source in cities and towns. The project works to prevent ocean plastic pollution by building capacity and commitment for Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling (3Rs) and solid waste management (SWM) in urban and peri-urban settings, particularly in riverine and coastal areas. CCBO works with multiple USAID missions on country-specific implementation of national and local activities, and with USAID/Washington on global-level activities.

The role of the CCBO Administrative Specialist will be to provide administrative, procurement, and logistical support to the project staff in Sri Lanka and in Maldives. He/she will coordinate with the Finance and Admin Manager and the Tetra Tech business office on administrative and operational support tasks.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field (i.e. business administration, management, finance, or accountancy)

*At least two (2) years of experience with a similar scope and duties

*Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

*Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

*Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Strong organizational and planning skills

*Proficient in MS Office

*Fluency in English required, other local languages are preferred
