RESPONSIBILITIES

Your overall responsibility will be to guarantee the quality, relevance and scaling up of WASH programmes in the mission, in conformity with the ACF/international standards, and national policies. More precisely, you will:
- Contribute to defining the country strategy as well as the strategy and positioning of the WASH technical department
- Coordinate the identification of needs and the formlutaion of projects proposals
- Oversee the implementation of , and ensure reporting on, program/projects
- Guarentee the quality and accountability of projects
- Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sectoral coordination and technical forums and develop sectoral partnerships
- Manage and lead the teams
- Promote capitalization, technical development, research and innovation within the WASH department

REQUESTED PROFILE

You hold a Master degree in water resource management, environment, civil engineering, international development, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of field experience with a humanitarian NGO in the WaSH sector, including 2 to 3 years of work experience in a similar positions, in camps, rural and urban contexts.
You have demonstrated skills in developping strategies, with good analytical and reporting capacity.
You also have demonstrated skills in communication and representation with an extensive experience working with local partners, and participating to relevant clusters.
You are recognised for your leadership and team management skills with an excellent English level - Burmese and / or Rakhine is a plus.
A former experience in working in Myanmar or with ACF is a strong advantage.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

This position is open to National and International candidates.
This is a 6 months fixed term contract.
Compensation & Benefits will be according to ACF's policy for national and international staff.
