The recent development in Ukraine have led over 5.7 million refugees to flee over the borders from Ukraine and a further 7.7 million have been displaced within Ukraine. The estimated 13 million people that are stranded in Ukraine face shortages of basic needs such as water, food and medicine.
3,143,550 refugees have crossed the Polish border, 453,848 refugees have crossed the Moldavian border and 856,941 refugees the Romanian border.
This situation has led ACF France to open three missions in Ukraine, Poland and Romania and ACF Spain in Moldova.
The mission is based in Vinnytsia with field visits to other locations within the country depending on the needs.
Under the direct responsibility of the Humanitarian Access and Security Head of Department, you provide crucial support to ACF teams by providing context analysis and building scenarios based on geopolitical trends. In particular you will be working on supporting mission's team to improve and increase security and sefety in the mission through analysisn development of networks, negotiation and community engagement.
You will work towards 3 key objectives:
This position implies to possess a wide set of skills, as you will be working on multiple areas such as analysis, strategy, people management, operations and networking development. You also need to be efficient and flexible.
You have a previous experience in such position, preferably with ACF otherwise with a similar NGO and appetance for developping strategies and implementing them. You have also a participative approach which will be essential for a new mission.
