RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will ensure sound and transparent administration of funds by providing accounting and financial management, which is consistent with the ACF financial management framework and local legislations.
More specifically, your responsibilities are:
- Contribute to the definition of mission's strategy
- Ensure high quality accounting for the mission
- Ensure high quality cash management for the mission
- Provide financial and budgetary management
- Promote and ensure financial collaboration and coordination with mission partners'
- Prevent and manage fraud and corruption
- Manage the Finance team in capital and support technically the finance managers in the bases

REQUESTED PROFILE

You hold a relevant degree in Finance and/or Business Administration. You have at least at least 5 years experience in humanitarian sector and in strategy development. Holder of good communication skills, you are able to buid strategic communications approach and government entities, build partnership.
You are recognized for your autonomy, your diplomatic nature, excellent negotiation skills plus negotiation experience;
You have a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and plan workload, to anticipate issues and respond in tight deadlines.
You are known for your strong leadership and staff management skills and competencies.
Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto is mandatory and so is good computer skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office and online database of the government. Knowledges of SAGA is a plus.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

- 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
- Monthly gross salary from 2305 to 2800EUR upon experience
- Monthly per diem and living allowance: 463EUR net, field paid
- Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
- 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
- Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
- Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses and repatriation insurance
- Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
